District Dividing Lines
Important Redistricting Update – June 2010
As a result of proposals by the Area 53 Adhoc Redistricting Committee and the Assembly actions on June 13, 2010, District 41 (RAC Building on Old Leonard Avenue) and District 42 (Pyramid Club on West Town) were dissolved. Groups that previously met at this buildings are now assigned to the district which encompasses these buildings. Going forward, the Area will not assign a district to a single building location.
Futhermore, as a result of a proposal by the Area 53 Adhoc Redistricting Committee and the Assembly action, Districts 28 and 29, which have been acting as a single district for many years will become District 28 and all groups previously assigned to District 29 will be assigned to District 28. The District 29 will be retired and will not be used in the future.
These Assembly actions are reflected in the District descriptions and maps below as of June 22, 2010.
