Area 53

At the Area 53 Assembly on June 13, 2010, the Adhoc Redistricting Committee presented three proposals for redistricting. After thorough considered, each proposal was approved by the Assembly.

District 41 (RAC Building on Old Leonard Avenue) was dissolved and groups that previously met at this buildings are now assigned to the district which encompasses this address. District 42 (Pyramid Club on West Town) was dissolved and groups that previously met at this buildings are now assigned to the district which encompasses this address. Going forward, the Area will not assign a district to a single building location or address. Districts 28 and 29, which have been acting as a single district for many years will become District 28 and all groups previously assigned to District 29 will be assigned to District 28. The District 29 will be retired and not used in the future.
