District 12 Yearly Gathering – Nov 20

District 12 is hosting another yearly gathering: Enjoying life while passing the message and ways to be of service to AA and your fellows.

The event is free. Join us and enjoy drinks, food, speakers, fellowship, and ask-it-basket. Don’t want to miss ”answer a question win a prize.”

District 22 Storytelling & Comedy Night

District 22 (Dublin/Hilliard) is hosting a storytelling and comedy night on October 3 from 6:30pm until about 11pm in the Dublin Abbey Theatre at Dublin Rec. Check out the area calendar for more details and to download the event flier to share.

If you are interested in volunteering or auditioning, email aacomedynight[at]gmail[dot]com. To audition, prepare a 10 minute, PG-13 gig. Storytelling, sketch, stand-up, something else; all artistic expressions are invited. There will be full audio-visual capabilities. Pre-show rehearsal attendance will be required.

District 26 Meeting – August 15

Hi All,

Just a reminder that our District 26 Meeting is tomorrow.  Attached is the Agenda, DCM report, ECR Trustee report and the outline of a workshop on ‘Safety in AA’ (you don’t need to print or bring copies of the last 2 unless you want to – they are for your review and sharing with your groups).  I will also bring copies of the Agenda and DCM reports to the meeting.

District 17 Steps Workshop

Date / Time: April 11, 2015 – 10am-2pm
Location: Sacred Heart Church, 161 Mulberry Ave, Pomeroy OH 45769

Two panel sessions discussing Steps 1, 2, 3 (morning) and Steps 10, 11, 12 (after lunch) and the Promises associated with each. Panelist will share their experience, strength and hope on how the Steps have transformed their lives.

District 26 – Literature Workshop: What’s In It For You

Description: District 26 is sponsoring an AA Literature Workshop titled “What’s In It For You.” The workshop will also include a ‘Chili Cook-Off’ with a prize to the winner. Please bring a side or dessert to share and bring your friends.

District 28 Movie Event – When Love is not Enough

Celebrating the Big Book (Oct 2014)

Description: District 34 is hosting a workshop to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Big Book. There will be a chili cook-off with 1st prize of 75th Anniversary Edition of the Big Book. Bring a desert.

District 10 – Delaware County Meeting

Title: District 10 – Delaware County Meeting
Date/Time: September 28 (Sunday) – 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Description: Eight people showed up on September 7th at 11am to discuss organizing District 10 (Delaware County). They agreed to meet again on Sunday, September 28 at 1pm to continue to discuss the mission of District 10 and start to plan some events and activities. District efforts might also include such things as supporting the startup of new meetings, creating opportunities for a strong sponsorship network, offering workshops for treasurers, secretaries and GSRs, and organizing holiday Alcathons.

District 10 includes all of Delaware County. It is one of 29 districts within the Area 53 that serves Central and Southeast Ohio. The district doesn’t currently have an elected District Committee Member (DCM) to represent our voice at the quarterly Area assembly.

Come Join us to talk about your views of the needs and opportunities for District 10 and Delaware County. There will be snacks and drinks!

District 19 GSR School (Sep 2014)
