Founders' Day 2025: Get Ready!

The 90th Annual Founders' Day will be held June 6, 7, & 8, 2025.

Pre-registration opens March 1, 2025, at 9:00 am Eastern Time.

Here's what you need to know:

• Registration:
  • Basic Registration: $35 (Pre-Registration) / $45 (On-Site)
  • Package Plan A: $300 (Housing with meals)
    • Includes Basic Registration, housing in a University of Akron dorm room, all meals, and a Historic Bus Tour ticket.
  • Package Plan B: $225 (Housing without meals)
    • Includes Basic Registration, housing in a University of Akron dorm room, and a Historic Bus Tour ticket.
• RV Site Tag: $40 (Basic Registration must be purchased separately for each attendee).
  • No hook-ups are available.
  • Pets and fires are not allowed.
• Meals (if purchased separately):
  • Saturday Breakfast: $22
  • Saturday Lunch: $27
  • Saturday Dinner: $40
  • Sunday Breakfast: $22
  • Diabetic, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available.
• Clear Bag Policy: The University of Akron has a clear bag policy for all Founders’ Day meetings and events.
  • Approved bags: clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags (12" wide x 12" high x 6" deep), one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, medical bags, and small clutch bags.
  • Prohibited bags: backpacks, binocular cases, camera cases, fanny packs, large-printed bags, mesh bags, purses, and tinted plastic bags.
  • Clear bags will be available onsite.
• Phone App: A free phone app is available with the event schedule, interactive campus map, and important notifications.
• Dorm Room Virtual Tour: Take a virtual tour of a University of Akron dorm room.
