It's comprised of key leaders and representatives dedicated to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our Area 53 Assembly. \nWho's Involved? \nThe committee includes: \n\nThe Area Delegate and Alternate Delegate\nAll current Area Officers and Alternate Officers\nDistrict Committee Members (DCMs) or their Alternates\nChairpersons of our Standing Committees or their Alternates\nThe District Committee Member (DCM) Chairperson or their Alternate\n\nWhat We Do: \n\nSteering the Assembly: We act as the primary guiding force for the Area 53 Assembly\, ensuring its effectiveness and relevance.\nAgenda Setting: We collaborate to create the agenda for each Area 53 Assembly meeting\, focusing on important topics and community needs.\nSupporting Day-to-Day Operations: We assist the Area Officers in managing the ongoing business of the Area 53 Assembly.\nEmpowering Standing Committees: We provide support and resources to our Area's Standing Committees\, enabling them to achieve their goals.\n\nMeeting Schedule: \nWe meet quarterly\, specifically on the second Sunday of: \n\nJanuary\nApril\nJuly\nOctober\n\nTransparency and Communication: \nTo ensure everyone is informed and prepared\, the agenda for each Area Assembly meeting\, which is created by this committee\, is distributed to all Area Assembly members at least one month in advance. \nOur Commitment: \nThe Area 53 Committee is dedicated to serving our community and fostering a strong\, supportive environment for all.
