With the Panel 67 elections coming up next Sunday (September 11), it is good to know those who have been your trusted servants for for the past 20 months as members of Panel 65. Be sure to show up, consider standing for an area office, and voting. Those eligible to vote at area assemblies include: GSRs , DCMs, the DCMC, Standing Committee Chairs, Area Officers and their Alternates, and Past Delegates. Alternates may vote in place of an absent GSR, DCM, DCMC, or Standing Committee Chair.

The upcoming Area 53 Assembly is June 5, 2016 at Blue Moon Conference Center in Grove City Ohio. Registration begins at 9:30am and the assembly opens at 10:00am. Below are links to the agenda and minutes to be approved.
The Area 53 Committee created an inventory plan in early 2016 which is attached to this news item. It called for a beginning at the assembly on March 13 to address two questions: “Reflecting on the Area 53 Guidelines (Article VII), is the Area 53 Committee achieving it’s “primary purpose?” and “In a general way, is it possible for it to improve?”
The committee expects to start the area inventory at the June assembly. Please review the attached plan and come prepared to help improve the area.
The upcoming Area 53 Assembly is March 13, 2016 at Deer Creek Lodge and Conference Center, 22300 State Park Road 20, Mt Sterling, OH 43143. Registration begins at 9:30am and the assembly opens at 10:00am. This assembly is co-located with the 2016 Area 53 Mini-Conference. Below are links to the March agenda, the December minutes to be approved, and the proposal for a new elected area officer (proposed as Website and Communications Officer).
