Five weeks to go!

The 2015 Area 53 Mini-Conference at Deer Creek Lodge and Conference Center will open for walk-in registration at 2 p.m. on March 6. The first information workshops begin about 4 p.m.

You can still pre-register at the Area 53 Website and clicking on the online registration link.

Deer Creek is in Madison County just 10 minutes south of Mt. Sterling off Ohio Rt. 207. On line registration cutoff is March 4, 2015. To reserve a room call 740-869-2020 before Feb 15 to get Conference rates. Contact your district DCM to participate in a special discount lodging opportunity.

One of the great experiences you’ll have at a weekend mini-conference is the opportunity to enhance your spiritual growth through real AA meetings. Just like the General Service Conference in New York, early bird A.A. meetings are held each morning. The Saturday night banquet culminates in the AA lead by Racy J., New York. You also get to hear Racy and General Service Board Trustee, Bill F., Marietta, OH, talk about 12-step work all over the world.

Learn how your group contributions carry the message in the U.S. and Canada and throughout the world.< The Area 53 Mini-Conference at Deer Creek is the first of four similarly structured service gatherings held respectively in SW Ohio, NE Ohio, NW Ohio and Central and SE Ohio. The delegates from all four Ohio areas will be listening when you share your committee's group conscience all weekend. If you are interested on Recovery, Unity and Service get registered early. And come for "love and service" the weekend of March 6 - 8 at Deer Creek.
