Understanding the Process: Equitable Distribution of Workload (EDW)
One of the key features of this year's agenda is the application of the Equitable Distribution of Workload (EDW) plan.
- Purpose: The EDW process ensures a fair and balanced experience by assigning new agenda items to committees with shorter workloads.
- Goal: This allows for more meaningful participation across the entire Conference and prevents specific committees from becoming overburdened.
- History: Following a three-year trial (2022–2024), the EDW process was formally approved by the 2024 General Service Conference.
