Service Opportunities for District 15
It is suggested to have one year of continuous sobriety for any of these positions. You must be a member of a group that is part of District 15. The District includes Noble, Morgan. Monroe and Washington counties.
If interested in any position, please come to our next District Meeting on October 24. We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church, Wooster & 4th Streets starting at 6:30pm. Any AA member is welcome to attend a District Meeting. You may also contact Bruce W. at 614-301-8025.
The Area 53 Committee and the District Committee Member (DCM) Committees both meet tomorrow, Sunday, October 8 at COGF Meeting Room. From the area web calendar:
Quarterly meeting of the DCM Committee for Area 53 DCMs and other interested AAs. Meets in the morning at 10:30am before the Area Committee meeting at 1pm.
Quarterly meeting of the Area Committee for officers, committee chairs and DCMs. Planning for the quarterly assembly and discussions about the business of the area. Open to all interested AAs. Meets at 1:30pm following the DCM Committee meeting at 10:30am.

Your Area 53 CPC-PI committee will join over 50 business and health, legal and community service organizations September 30 at Hope Works 2017 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. CPC-PI was invited by Peace Lutheran for the job fair which is co-sponsored by The Allen Foundation.
An AA CPC-PI committee informs the public-at-large and the professionals who provide services to or employ persons with an alcohol problem. The committee uses the flyer “Information on Alcoholics Anonymous” and as many as 32 other conference approved literature to inform the public and professionals about what AA does and doesn’t do and how to contact AA for help.
Maureen T., Teri G., Dan S. and Dave C. will be CPC-PI volunteers answering questions and reaching out from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday.

A sponsorship workshop will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43220. It will be in the Youth Lounge on the second floor; use the west entrance. Get experience, strength and hope from our sponsorship panel.
The event is sponsored by District 30. We will also have a sponsorship family recognition with a prize for the largest. There will be a bakeoff competition. Bring your favorite dessert and sample other’s concoctions. Beverages will be provided.
