District 26 Workshop – March 26

AA Beyond the Meeting: Service Into Action is a District 26 workshop that is part presentation, part food and fellowship, part small group discussion, and all AA. Share your experience with service in AA, with presentations from representatives from the four entities of service. Learn how service has strengthened the programs of the speakers and AA as a whole. Find out how to get yourself active in general service. March 26, 10am – 2pm, at New Life Church, 3690 N. Stygler Road, Columbus Ohio 43230.

My First Mini-Conference – 2003

My first mini-conference was in 2003. I had just joined the Area Committee as DCM for District 16. At that time the Area was very short of funds and had voted not have the mini-conference. The then Delegate presented a plan of how we could have one that was close to self-supporting, if the DCMs would get behind it. I immediately got on board and have been intimately involved in the mini-conference ever since.

The upcoming Area 53 Assembly is March 13, 2016 at Deer Creek Lodge and Conference Center, 22300 State Park Road 20, Mt Sterling, OH 43143. Registration begins at 9:30am and the assembly opens at 10:00am. This assembly is co-located with the 2016 Area 53 Mini-Conference. Below are links to the March agenda, the December minutes to be approved, and the proposal for a new elected area officer (proposed as Website and Communications Officer).
