We need you!
If you are considering coming to the Ohio State Convention on July 28-30, and can spare as little as an hour to several hours, please consider being a greeter for our fellow AA’s & friends as they converge on Columbus. If you are a member of one of the participating groups – AA, Al-Anon, Ohio Young People of AA – then you ARE QUALIFIED!!
I have found that greeting people at the door has not only led to many new and great friendships. It has allowed me to learn new twist and techniques using the tools that I’ve learned in the rooms. I have also been told by a trusted ‘Old-Timer’ that it is a great way to give back to those the in the fellowship that I’ve forgotten about or have moved on to ‘The Big Meeting.’
If you can spare some time and want to give back to the fellowship starting at 2:00 pm Friday, July 28, please contact me or any member of the Area 53 Convention Planning Committee. If greeting is not your cup-o-tea, contact me anyhow – I have other service work that you might enjoy.
