Saturday, February 10 from noon to 1:00 is our next Grapevine Committee meeting at COGF.
We’ll be working on display ideas, reading through a play submitted to the Grapevine by another Area, planning our participation in the upcoming District 26 workshop for the end of March as well as the Mini Conference.

In keeping with the theme of “Supporting Our Future” District 26 voted to add the service position of COYPAA (Central Ohio Young People of Alcoholics Anonymous) Liaison. Kalen C, past DCM of District 30 and the current Area 53 Alternate Recording Secretary, was elected to hold the 2 year position. The goal of the position is to have a collaboration with COYPAA to work together through idea sharing. Mutually, we hope to work towards carrying out our primary purpose – to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
The trusted servants of District 26 look forward to having COYPAA participation in our meetings, committees, workshops and events as well as having the opportunity to be of the same service to COYPAA.
The Area 53 Committee meeting and the DCM Committee meeting originally scheduled for January 14 has been rescheduled.
The committees will be meeting on January 28, 2017 at the COGF meeting room starting at 10:30 am until all business is finished. There is a meeting in the room 9:00 am -10 am, and no other meetings scheduled that day.
NOTE: The Area committee will be discussing the location for future Area Planning/DCM Committee meetings along with the location for the coming year’s Assemblies.
