The District 22 AA Wilderness Retreat is an adults-only weekend for recovering alcoholics to find Peace, Community, and Spiritual Experiences.
Paint Creek State Park’s Equestrian Camp Area is quiet and secluded from the main RV camping areas located across the lake and is surrounded by forest and trails. We plan meetings in the morning and evening at the campsite. There will be a sense of community as we cook, prepare campsites, enjoy park activities (beach, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking, etc.) and enjoy gifts from our higher power. Camping space is limited. Please reach out soon to reserve spot. On the other hand, many AAs have expressed interest in participating for just the day on Saturday. Camping is $30 per person (bring your tent and equipment). Saturday Only Fellowship is $15 per person. All include main dish for breakfast and dinner. Side dishes are appreciated and will be coordinated. (Kayak and Canoe rentals are available locally.)
