This is a friendly reminder to register online for the upcoming September 11th Assembly.
Why register?
Make sure your group’s voice is heard!
The September Assembly is a special meeting, held once every two years, where we vote on the trusted servants to lead the area, as well as the delegate to represent the area at the annual General Service Conference meeting.
Put into practice the words of our Traditions and Concepts!
Consider Tradition II – “ For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority – a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern.”
Also, examine Concept IV – “At all responsible levels, we ought to maintain a traditional “Right of Participation,” allowing a voting representation in reasonable proportion to the responsibility that each must discharge.”
Additionally, there’s a lot of planning and work involved for an Area 53 Assembly.
- In-Person Attendees: We need to be able to plan for enough seating, coffee, and printouts.
- Zoom Attendees: So you can get documents ahead of the assembly.
