The next Area 53 state convention meeting is Monday, August 21st at New Life Church – Gahanna @ 6:30pm – 9:00pm. We will discuss how the 2017 Ohio State Convention went & process ideas for the future.
The next Area 53 Assembly is September 10, 2017 at the Riverview Conference Center in Chillicothe. The materials for the assembly are posted on the Area 53 Assembly webpage. Materials available include the agenda (subject to changes), minutes to be approved, two guideline change proposals, area inventory questions, and map to the location.

District 28 is having a “Oldcomers and Newtimers Panel Discussion at Crestview Presbyterian Church located at 350 Tulane Rd on August 26th from 3-5 pm. We will have a spaghetti dinner with all the trimmings. Please come out and share with District 28.

Districts 15 & 16 are hosting a GSR School at Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St., Athens, OH on Sunday Oct. 15, 2017 from 1 – 5 pm. This event will be presented by Dan S., Area 53 Group Service Chairperson, and all materials will be provided by Area 53 Group Services Committee. Districts 15 & 16 will provide beverages and snacks. Please see the flyer for further information.
