At the Area 53 Assembly on September 11, 2011, four redistricting proposal for Franklin County were approved resulting in eight districts inside Franklin County. At this time, the redistricting within Franklin County is considered completed and the actions are reflected in maps and boundary descriptions on the area website.
Districts 22 and 35 were combined into District 22 which includes Dublin and Hilliard. The north and west boundaries are the Franklin County line, the east boundary is the Scioto River and the south boundary is I-70.
District 28 was restructured to change the west boundary to be the Olentangy River instead of Rt. 315.
Districts 30, 31 and 32 were combined into District 30 which includes Granville, Upper Arlington and Linville. The north boundary is the Franklin County line, the west boundary is the Scioto River, the east boundary is the Olentangy River and the south boundary is I-670.
Districts 33, 39 and 40 were combined into District 33 which includes downtown and Bexley. The north boundary is Fifth Avenue, the west boundary is the Scioto River.
