March 11th is just around the corner. As your Mini-Conference Chair, I am getting eager as we get closer to the opening of your 2016 Mini Conference. Never did I ever image, as I attended my first mini-conference, that one day I would be given the opportunity to serve at this capacity. I have learned a lot from the past conferences and been fortunate to have experienced members explain, not only the procedure, but the importance of the process. That the mini-conference experience, is similar (not as intense) to the Delegate’s experience in New York.
Come and experience in action the Third Legacies Procedure, minority opinion, being part of a committee that sends information and our group conscience with your delegate (Kristi H.) to New York for a week in April. It is a special experience to be presented the chance to discuss AA principles and meet with members from all over Ohio and even other states.
I invite everyone who plans to attend an special opportunities to participate. We can always use more help in the hospitality room, at the registration table, and as readers and greeters during our sessions and meetings. If you’re interested, call me – I would be pleased to hear from you.
Frank G., Mini Conference Chair
