Area 53 Assembly Quarter Meeting
Archives Committee Report
December 13, 2020
The Archives Committee continues to meet once a month on the fourth Saturday of each Month at 9:00 a.m. on Zoom. The Committee has approved the purpose and collection guidelines and a position description for the Area 53 Archivist. Due to Covid-19 further inventory at COGF has been suspended.
I have purchased a few Archive Workbooks for the Committee Members and we will review the guidelines related to collecting oral history from our Area 53 old timers. A Committee member has expressed interest in leading this effort.
Next Steps:
- Develop a timeline for Area 53 that can be posted on the Area 53 website
- Search for an Archivist
- Work on a Area 53 timeline
