“From my very first AA meeting, I have felt the magic in the rooms- the spirit of carrying the message. My first Mini-Conference in 2005 I had just celebrated my first year anniversary. And at a time when I was experiencing a spiritual awaking, my exposure with a mass of seasoned AAers coming together for the future of AA only heightened my spiritual experience and compelled me more to becoming ‘I am responsible’.” Who said this?
According to Sandy D., Treasurer, Mini-Conference Committee, “The mini-conference provides an opportunity for all AA members to learn and share – to be heard and have their opinions count. Our Area 53 Delegate, Kristi K. will attend the General Service Conference in New York in April. This is when the 90 plus area delegates discuss and vote on current issues needing decisions for further action. Some of these same issues are the discussed at the mini-conference.”

Saturday Meals at the Mini-Conference: Box Lunch $12 (Smoked Turkey Sandwich or Chicken Salad Sandwich with bag of chips, fresh fruit, granola bar and drink) and Carver’s Buffet Banquet $30 (prime rib, herb roasted pork loin, fresh vegetables, roasted red skin potatoes, waterloo salad/caesar salad, rolls and cheesecake).
