The Alkathon will be here soon and we know your groups want to participate. Attached is a sign-up sheet for time-slots for the Alkathon.ย In the event of ties for time-slots we will have a drawing. The drawing/sign-up will take place at our next District 26 meeting which will be November 19th from 9:30-11:00am at the New Life Church in Gahanna.
Please discuss this with your group, choose your favorite time-slots and either send a representative to the District meeting on the 19th, or give your completed sheet to a member of the District (you can also scan & email a copy). We’re having the same DJ as last year, and the same great AA groups hosting meetings, so we know this will be a super fun event.
On September 11, 2016, the Area 53 Assembly elected the following trusted servants for Panel 67 for the period Jan 2017 through Dec 2018: Frank G., Area 53 Delegate; Stephen S., Alternate Delegate; Dan H., Area 53 Chairperson; Ed A., Alternate Chairperson; Donna K., Area 53 Treasurer; Sandy D., Alternate Treasurer; Matt P., Area 53 Recording Secretary; Kalen C., Alternate Recording Secretary; Nita S., Area 53 Registrar; and Marcie D., Alternate Registrar.
Districts 15 (Athens) and 16 (Marietta) are hosting a GSR School on Nov 6 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2 S Court Street, Athens Ohio. The purpose of the GSR School is to help new GSRs become comfortable and effective in service to their home group. This workshop is open to all interested members of AA. Workbooks and other materials will be available. Avalanche Pizza, snacks and beverages are included. Presented by: Greg S., Portsmouth and Bill Y., Columbus.
